Bauducco is the world's largest panettone manufacturer and one of the largest manufacturers of baked goods in South America.
Today, the brand is present in more than 50 countries and carries in its legacy a story of entrepreneurship that transformed a small confectionery shop into a great success.
It all began about 70 years ago, when Italian immigrant Carlo Bauducco arrived in Brazil bringing with him a family recipe and the dream of opening his own business.
It was in a small pastry shop in the Brás neighborhood of São Paulo that Carlo, his wife Margherita, and their son Luigi began making their first great recipe: Panettone.
Over the years, the recipe became increasingly well-known, and with this growth, Bauducco opened its first factory in 1962.
Everyone who tried Panettone loved its taste, texture, and softness. Then, in 1979, the company made its first export to the USA, initiating a global expansion. This significant growth led Bauducco to diversify its products, allowing the brand to be present in families' homes year-round.
It was in the 1990s that Bauducco took a big leap and transformed into the Pandurata group, created to encompass the company's brands. The numbers continued to grow, the factories multiplied, and innovations continued to drive the company forward.
Thus emerged the concept that would permeate the brand for almost three decades: From the Bauducco family, to your family.
To leave a transformative legacy, you need to leave the doors open. And that's what happened in 2012, when the first Casa Bauducco store opened in São Paulo, allowing everyone to experience our recipes, prepared with great care.
In addition to being an important step with the entry into the retail segment, Casa Bauducco represents a return to its origins, translating the brand's values into a welcoming environment and a unique experience.
Today, the Bauducco brand is a success, expanding year after year in Brazil and abroad.
In 2018, Bauducco opened its first international factory in Miami (USA), where it already had a branch since 2005. This gave it an international structure, allowing it to be present on every continent.
By respecting its history, Bauducco has never stopped expanding and innovating, entering new categories such as breads, chocolates, and snacks that now make up its large product portfolio.
The entrepreneurial spirit that unites quality, tradition, and passion for what they do in their recipes allows these values to be perpetuated from generation to generation.
Bauducco is very proud of its history, and the change in concept in 2020 was based on a "feeling called family" and a very special moment. The new positioning shifts the focus of communication to the consumer and broadens the meaning of family, bringing it into the modern world, where family relationships are now based on bonds of affection.
